Why is this study important?
This study may be beneficial to the treatment of patients with chronic migraines by offering support for ketorolac NS as an at-home abortive medication. The study supports the noninferiority of ketorolac NS versus sumatriptan NS for the treatment of migraine headaches. It may offer a needed option for those patients who cannot safely take sumatriptan.
