BEEM is an international, emergency medicine, knowledge translation project created by emergency physicians for emergency physicians.

The vision of BEEM is to be the most valid, reliable, and unbiased global source of current clinically-relevant patient-centered research for Emergency Physicians.
Accreditation and Certification
All BEEM courses are fully accredited by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians (12 hours), the College of Family Physicians of Canada (up to 36 Mainpro+ credits), and/or the American Medical Association (12 PRA Category 1 Credits™). Attendees should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Target Audience
Clinicians who practice who practice in a variety of emergency settings, including rural, urban, academic, and non-academic centres. The course is open to physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and anyone interested in the most up to date evidence in emergency medicine.
Objectives
The BEEM course are designed to be interactive. By the end of the sessions, the participants will:
Be able to critically appraise the articles presented, including an understanding of methodology, analysis, and bias.
Identify the clinical practice change suggested by the new research / article.
