Why is this study important?
Despite that antipyretics are the most frequent medications used in pediatric, recommendations for the use of acetaminophen and ibuprofen in young children are variable, particularly for ibuprofen. Moreover, superiority of ibuprofen as an antipyretic may be not applicable for younger children.
